More than us wanting to talk to God, I believe God is desperately trying to talk to us. I am reminded of this passage where God is talking to Elijah. Here is what God says to Him.

Take your stand and be equipped for the biggest move of the Holy Spirit in our midst. And continue to pray and seek the God who runs the affairs of this land with His wisdom. Get ready.

There are plenty of women in the Bible that were strong and capable women, from whom we can learn a lot. Today, know for sure that you can be someone who didn’t just sit around waiting for someone else to get the job done. You can be someone who feared God and lived faithfully and did what needed to done.

Discouragement is a powerful tool of Satan. The children of Israel had returned from exile after 70 years. They had shown initial excitement about their commission to rebuild the house of God. But after repeated opposition and defeat, they gave up and focused on building their own houses.

Be faithful and trust God to use you and your talents to leave a legacy bearing much fruit!

Many years back I saw a movie called “The Perfect Storm'' which actually showed me a glimpse of what a storm looks like. No one survived in that storm because it was huge and deadly.
